About the job

A US-based company building an automated hiring platform to help businesses seamlessly employ hourly workers is looking for a Software Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for developing new features for the platform while maintaining and integrating with existing products. The company is committed to creating a magical hiring product experience for deskless workers and businesses. The firm has managed to raise more than $55mn during their Series B round of funding. This will be a full-time, long-term position that requires some overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement and advocate rapid iteration and agile approaches to software development
• Maintaining high performance and compatibility across platforms
• Be a full-fledged contributor and help cross-functional teams
• Build self-contained, reusable, and testable code

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
• Prolific experience working with React and Ruby on Rails
• Nice to have some knowledge of Node.js
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to iterate ideas and thoughts clearly and effectively to the management
